So you have been going like a bat out of hell for days, weeks and months and you wake up one morning and you just don’t feel like getting out of bed…
What do you do?
Well sometimes believe it or not you just need to take a break.
But don’t let it drag on to long. If you do, you may find yourself giving up too much of the ground that you picked up when you were going like crazy and that is not a good thing.
The other thing you may want to consider…
Is just getting up and going for more. Sometimes you may be just one more step before reaching that goal or objective that you have set for yourself and all you have to do at that point in your life is get up out of bed and just keep going. It may be the key that you have been waiting for.
Here are a few other tips that may work in this situation:
1. Reconnect with your goals – Start to list all the WHYS that you have connected to your goals. This may be enough to get you out of bed and moving forward again.
2. Connect with your accountability partner – make sure to connect with someone who is aware of the goals that you have and tell them of your feelings. They may be able to give you the encouragement necessary to get you moving again.
3. Take that Break – Sometimes we need to take time to recharge the batteries. Again a word of caution. You do not want to rest to long because you may give up some of the ground you picked up moving towards your goals.
You want to avoid getting into a slump. The only way to do this is by going back to the basics and start doing the things that were moving you in the right direction to begin with.
