The key to success in sales is the “perceived value” that YOU provide. Let explain this a little bit…

Let’s say that you are selling cars, and the brand that you sell is Ford. And the model that you are selling is a Focus. Well chances are your potential customer can buy the same vehicle with same equipment at 3 dealerships in a 15 mile radius, he can even read The Car Lease Guide and get a better deal than the one you are giving him.

So what makes the difference?

And how do you get the most money for a common item as a Ford Focus?

Simple answer is the “perceived value” that comes with YOU!!!

When the customer is comfortable with you and the service that they feel that they will get from you, they will buy from you.

Here’s the rub…

The more comfortable they feel with you, they more they will be willing to pay.

As this comfort level goes down, so does the price they are willing to pay.

That is why “perceived value” is so important.

This philosophy works in any competitive commodity.
