First off, I have been personally mentored by some of the best people in the areas of personal development, from Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy to Denis Waitly and Anthony Robbins and I have learned some of the best practices in the areas of personal development and motivation that have helped many people around the world make breakthroughs in their lives to achieve great success.
Over the next week, I will be posting some of the best ideas around personal development and the ideas that can take you from mediocrity to achieve great success in your life.
First Subject is the your mind, your greatest helper or your worse enemy.
All success and all failure will stem from the habitual thinking that occurs in your mind, day in and day out.
The funny thing about your mind is that you have an underlying thinking process that works below the surface of your conscious thinking and these subconscious thoughts control your actions which end up creating the habits in your life that determine your results. These thoughts were put in place to make you safe but they often hinder your actions and stop you from making forward progress without your knowledge.
It’s a scary thought but it is true and it effects every area of your life from your health to your business life to your relationships to your financial situation.
Think of this way, the subconscious thoughts that you have are kind of like your personal operating system that has been created by the things that have happened to you from when you were born up until this very minute. And as you know with any operating system sometimes it catches viruses and sometimes it crashes.
So the only way to make any real change in your life is to re-program your operating system with thoughts that serve you instead of holding you back.
This is very tricky because these thoughts are tough to get out BUT when you find them it is a day like no other, it is a real eye opener and a real liberating experience.
Once you catch this thought that is constantly rolling around in your head you can re-program that thought and you will be on your way to different results.
You have these thoughts in your mind for every area that you would like to improve so this is something that you have to make a habit of doing.
So to close this part out:
You have thoughts in your mind that create the actions that you take, that create the results that you have in your life.
In order to change the results that you are getting you have to “catch” these subconscious thoughts that you are currently thinking and you have to change these thoughts to “new” thoughts that will help you take different actions that WILL create different results.
In the next post in this series, we will be exploring some ideas about “ACTION” and how taking the “right” actions will move you towards the success that you seek.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,
